I’m tired of this bullshit.
I am Canadian-Filipino.
I am cis-gendered in a hetero relationship.
I am thin and able.
I recognize my own privileges even as a person of colour.
Although I experience some form of sexism, racism and prejudice everyday
I do not fear for my life from the police.
Even as a POC, I recognize that I have privilege. I see how my family and friends would drop hints of their own racism not realizing my silence made it worse.
We are all responsible for not taking enough actions to stop the unjust killings in our country and the US. I will no longer be silent.
In its essence, #bodypositivity IS HUMAN RIGHTS.
